ClearWater field engineers and consultants have extensive experience supporting systems for effective water recycling. When properly treated, water reuse systems provide a variety of benefits, fostering long-term sustainability.
WATER RECLAMATION AND REUSE
Water reclamation occurs when effluent is treated for reuse as industrial influent water. Recycling grey water requires adequate treatment to mitigate suspended solids, microbiological nutrients, dissolved solids, metal oxides, and other harmful constituents.
Reclaimed water can come from a variety of sources, including the local municipality wastewater treatment plant, rinse waters for demineralizers and other plants systems, process water overflow, and blowdown from boiler or cooling systems. When properly treated and maintained, water reclamation has numerous benefits, including a reduction in raw water and sewer costs, and a positive impact on our environment.
ZERO-LIQUID DISCHARGE
We have serviced a full range of ZLD systems for a variety of water discharge sources, including blowdown from boilers and cooling towers, reverse osmosis concentrate, softener brine and rinse water, demineralizer regeneration solutions, mine leachate, etc.
Both reduced effluent and ZLD programs benefit the environment and your bottom line. Additionally, the evaporation/crystallization process can help industrial operators recover valuable by-products for reuse or sale.
